Tamilnadu Adai

Ingredients:

Greengram (mung dal/ pacchai payaru/cherupayar): 1cup
Mashed greengram ( pasi paruppu,cherupayarparuppu):-1 cup
Rice (arisi,ari)-1 cup
Split gram (Yellow lentil/Toor dhal- Thuvaram paruppu,Sambar paruppu)- 1cup
Whole Black gram (Uluntham paruppu/urad dal,uzhunu)-3 tsp
Fenugreek (vendhayam,uluva)- 1 tsp
Drumstick leaves(muringa ella)- 1 cup
jeera-1tsp
dried full red chilly (varamulaka)-3-4
Ginger-1/2' piece
Small onion-5-6
curryleaf 3-4
Gingelly oil-1/2 cup
salt- to taste


Method:

wash and clean drumstick leaf and keep aside.Soak green gram,mashed greengram,Rice,Split gram,Whole blackgram,and Fenugreek overnight.


 Morning grind all soaked dals with jeera, Smallonion,redchillies, curry leaves and ginger in a mixie. Consistency should be of normal dosa batter, add drumstick leaves to this batter. Also add salt to taste.

Spread the batter on a dosa tawa like how we make dosa in gingely oil. flip and cook both sides.


SSuuper Adai is ready and can be relished with coconut chutney................:))
